1. Our Commitment to Compliant Communication
EXPOCALL LTD is committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance in all our outbound calling activities. As a specialist provider of AI-powered exhibition follow-up services, we recognise the importance of respecting the privacy of individuals and businesses in accordance with UK law.
2. Mandatory Screening Protocols
We ensure that every lead list provided by our clients is screened against the following registers before any calls are initiated:
- TPS (Telephone Preference Service): The UK's statutory register of individuals who have opted out of receiving unsolicited sales and marketing calls.
- CTPS (Corporate Telephone Preference Service): The central register for businesses (including limited companies and PLCs) that do not wish to receive unsolicited sales calls.
Our systems utilise a licensed TPS/CTPS API to perform automated checks on every campaign. In accordance with Ofcom and ICO guidelines, no number registered for more than 28 days on these lists will be contacted by our AI agents.
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
As an exhibition follow-up service, we typically operate under the lawful basis of Legitimate Interest.
- Contextual Relevance: We only contact prospects who have directly engaged with our clients at a specific event or trade show.
- Memory Bridge: Calls are made within the "golden window" (typically 24–48 hours) to ensure the interaction is fresh and relevant to the prospect.
- Disclosure: Every call begins with a clear disclosure that the caller is an automated AI service.
4. Opt-Out and "Do Not Call" Management
We operate a strict internal Do Not Call (DNC) list.
- Any request to "opt-out," "unsubscribe," or "stop calling" is logged in real-time by our AI agents.
- Once a prospect opts out, they are immediately suppressed from the current campaign and permanently blocked from all future campaigns for that specific client.
- Standard opt-out phrases we recognise include "remove me from your list," "do not contact," and "I do not consent to further calls".
5. Calling Restrictions
To minimise disruption, ExpoCall Ltd strictly adheres to the following calling schedule:
- Days: Monday to Saturday only.
- Times: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM (UK Time).
- Exclusions: No calls are made on Sundays or UK Bank Holidays.
